BANK COTTAGE

Bank Cottage is the perfect chocolate box example of a traditional 18th century Peak District property with one major difference – it is hidden in the middle of bustling Buxton.

Built in golden-hue limestone, it is one of the oldest homes in the resurgent spa town on the fringes of the UK’s first ever national park.

EYE-CATCHING VIEWS

Offering flexible accommodation for six adults and children, there are three gorgeous bedrooms, two tastefully-decorated bathrooms, a glorious cottage garden and the added bonus of off-street parking.

Two of the bedrooms are large doubles with king size beds, one of which can be converted into a twin. Both have spectacular views across to landmark buildings including the eye-catching Devonshire Dome, iconic Palace Hotel and striking Octagon. The third is a small but bright double with twin beds which can be turned into a king.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Downstairs there’s a spacious lounge with ample seating and a real log burner for those wintry Buxton nights, a lovely dining room with handcrafted wood table, a well-equipped kitchen and useful utility room. Wi-fi is available throughout.

SOAK UP THE SUN ... OR SNOW

Outside there’s a picture postcard enclosed garden with a nice-size lawn and attractive patio area complete with six-seater picnic table.

Here you can enjoy al fresco dining in the company of the ‘First Lady of Bank Cottage’ and overlooked by the Town Hall’s magnificent bell tower.

There’s also a storage shed with space for at least four bikes. A key will be provided on request.

CONVENIENT LOCATION

At the rear, there’s a gated courtyard and parking for one vehicle. If more spaces are required, there is on-street parking to the front with a permit and two long-stay car parks within a 30-second walk.
